Reflection: I think this turned out really well. I like the lightness of the colors, it gives a nice pastel effect. I also liked the overall theme of music

Reflection: It definitely could have turned out better, next time, I'll make the edges smoother and use clay that's not so dry

Media: Carved linoleum block, printed onto paper

Inspiration: I was inspired by some shoes I saw in a catalog

Reflection: I like the way it turned out because of the contrasting colors

Artist Bio of Andy Warhol: He was born on August 6, 1928 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. When he was in high school, he took art classes at the Carnegie Museum. In 1949, he graduated from the Carnegie Institute of Technology with a major in pictoral design. When he was in college, he discovered the blotted line technique, and earned a reputation in the '50s for using this technique to make advertisements. He started pop art in the 1960s. On July 3, 1968, Warhol was shot in the chest. After he was pronounced clinically dead, the doctor managed to get his heart working again, although it took a long time for him to recover. He passed away on February 21, 1987 for unknown reasons.
